CCP
CCP - Counter-Cyclical payments occur at the end of the marketing year for a particular crop. The marketing year for all wheat is June 1st - May 31st. On corn and soybeans, the marketing year is September 1st - August 31st. There may be an optional advance payment of the expected CCP during the
first quarter of the marketing year. The final payment is usually announced two months after the marketing year is complete. If the final CCP is less than the advance, the difference would have to be repaid to the government at that time.

Here is the formula for CCP: Target Price less direct payment less national average price. If the national average price is greater than (Target Price - Direct Payment), CCP = zero. The maximum CCP cannot exceed this formula (Target Price - Direct Payment - Loan Rate) should the national average price be below the national average loan rate.
